Silent hill homecoming serums2/20/2024 I must have lost at least half my serums like that in my first playthru. Without you ever pressing a button to confirm that you wanted to use it. However, one cutscene (if skipped) will ultimately break the game and force a dashboard, and it's quite a long one, so I'll point out that cutscene in the main story walkthrough. Especially how if you have the serum highlighted in your inventory and exit, the serum is automatically used. Some cutscenes can be skipped with START, I don't think it is written anywhere so I write it here. Counter attacks are the key to success, keep that in mind. A lot of enemies can kill you in a few blows if you don't dodge in time. This will make your life considerably easier, especially since important things are marked on your map. Try to find the map to each respective area that you enter. Gladly it doesn't have any batteries that can deplete. The only times that turning a flashlight off is beneficial is when faced with a large number of Nurses. It is true that it lures enemies to your position, but it is always true that 90% of the game areas are so dark that you can't even see yourself sometimes. Try to memorize attack paterns to make your life easier.ĭon't make it a habit of turning your flashlight off. Sometimes it's wiser to run than to fight however, most of the time enemies will attack you one at a time. They also replenish any lost health so I strongly recommend using them when you are low on health as it will completely fill (and boost) that precious bar. The serums which you find throughout the game will increase your life bar when used. Keep them and don't waste them since there will be spots where they are really needed. Silent Hill: Homecoming for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC: information, walkthrough, endings, secrets. Keep an eye on your surrondings since many dark corners can hide a valuable health item. This works for 90% of all the enemies, exceptions are Smogs when they charge their smoke attacks, Needlers in general and Siams (they are just too big to be impressed by your Knife). The combo A, A, A, X will keep your enemy from using anything else (especially the Order Members) and if you do it fast enough, your enemy won't be able to land one hit between the combo chain. I didn't recognise any damage differences, so I mainly used the knife. There are various reasons, but mainly the advantage in speed is important. Silent Hill (Japanese:, Hepburn: Sairento Hiru) is a horror anthology media franchise centered on a series of survival horror games created by Keiichiro Toyama and published by Konami. But I strongly recommend using only the Knife. There are heavy and light weapons so you have quite an arsenal at hand. Since the game is largely based on melee combat (I only found 1 enemy type which is capable of ranged combat and 2 order members with a crossbow and a shotgun) becoming adept at it is very important. Sadly, keeping your distance from some enemies is quite important, so be prepared to shoot like a sniper and always be on the lookout for ammo crates. Ammo is rare, so either make every shot count or conserve ammo for the bosses and/or tougher enemies, especially for the strong weapons like the shotgun or the rifle as you will not find a lot of ammo for them.
